Kid Experts join Sing for Hope to Help Spread Smiles

If you live in NYC, surely you’ve seen one of the 400 beautifully painted pianos that were popping up everywhere in the city this summer. And if you weren’t lucky enough to spot one outside (and play it!), you’ve probably seen the photos that were hashtagged and shared on Instagram every day.

Sing for Hope is responsible for placing all these musical art pieces in NYC’s parks and public spaces for everyone to enjoy. The organization’s goal is to “uplift lives through the arts” and we honestly couldn’t think of a better way to describe this nonprofit. From supporting language development to nurturing creativity, Sing for Hope’s roster of volunteer artists has changed thousands of lives through arts-based programs in hospitals, after-school programs, nursing homes, and neighborhood centers.

Curated Care recently had the chance to join Sing for Hope to bring Disney music to kiddos’ bedsides at NYU Langone’s Center for Children.  Kid Experts and singers Christina M and Taylor Q, who are both passionate about making a difference, loved the opportunity, with Taylor saying afterward that it was the best thing she has done since moving to NYC!
