The Curated Care Olympic Games that is! We recently held our own Olympic Games in honor of the start of the 2018 Winter Olympics this week! Check out how little Curated Care minis showed up with their star power (and how many won Gold Medals)!

The day started out with kiddos designing and creating their own country’s flag. It was amazing to see how many countries were represented! The flag creation was no challenge for our young artists. We were curious to see how their athletic skills would match up once the games commenced.

After their flags were completed, it was time to move on to building their Olympic torches. The torches were assembled quickly, the flames ignited, and the mood set. The little athletes made it clear they were not only here to play, but to win.

The ceremony started! Kiddos formed a line with their torches held high. Once the music began, it was time for the opening march! With yellow and orange flames engulfing the venue, we knew this was going to be a competitive day!

The teams were assembled and the lineup announced. Up first was the singles figure skating! Some kiddos took to the ice effortlessly, while others struggled a little bit with their skates. In the end, however, they all picked up on the sport naturally, and we figured out later that their struggles were just part of their strategy!

Simultaneously, in a different arena, kiddos were competing to pin flames on the torches. The hot flames were no deterrent for these young athletes who all scored big wins in this category.

The athletes then moved on to the last and most challenging game of the day — the snowball toss. Here’s where we really saw the teams working together to come up with genius strategies. Their teamwork was incredibly brilliant, with their efforts winning them top points for managing to get the snowballs into the correct igloos without any breakage!

We couldn’t believe we had ever questioned the athletic abilities of Curated Care minis! For the first time in Olympic history, ALL participants won Gold medals! They hugged their fellow Olympians and vowed to come back next year just as strong.
