It’s that time of year again! Time to find that unicorn of a after school childcare provider who can maintain a recurring part-time schedule, handle school drop offs and/or pickups, keep your kiddos engaged & in their routine and head out the door in time for your family to reconvene after a long day’s work.

Curated Care offers a variety of creative & inspiring Kid Experts available to cover your scheduling needs. The majority of our Kid Experts work with multiple families for one-off/flexible bookings. A smaller population of Kid Experts have availability for recurring, after school pick up.

We provide the tools for families to find, message, book and pay Kid Experts directly through the site for after school pick up. So how does it work? Read on about our 3-step process.

1. Create an Account & Get to Know Us

Sign up to Curated Care to get familiar with our platform. You can check out Kid Expert profiles and hourly rates as well as their skills sets and areas of expertise. Review our booking page to see how inputting weekly bookings works. Once you are familiar with the site, email us at hello@curatedcare.com with (1) your ideal after school schedule (days of the weeks and times needed for picks ups at school), (2) ideal start date, (3) the neighborhood your crew is based in, and (4) a bit about your kiddos (ages/ interests).

While Curated Care is not an agency, we do aim to offer helpful customer service when families are scouting after school options. Email us with your information and we’ll put feelers out to our community of Kid Experts. If we have anyone currently available for your scheduling needs, we’ll send their profile your way.

2. Browse Profiles & Start a Conversation

Check out the profiles we send you to see who looks like a possible fit for your crew. From there, message them directly from their profile to chat in more detail. Next, book one or multiple Kid Experts over the platform for a short one to two-hour session to meet, see their rapport with your family and make sure all is a great fit.

3. Choose Your Kid Experts & Firm Up Schedules

Curated Care allows you to input a recurring after school schedule for up to 3 months. Simply click the dates and times you need and set up your weekly bookings over the platform in a few clicks. All bookings go through the platform. Your Kid Expert will invoice you over the site after each session. There is a $4.50 or 4.50% service charge on each transaction which covers safety & security features, credit card processing, on-going customer support and continued use of the platform. Note families using an Amex will see a servicie fee of 4.7% of $4.75 minimum.

Many NYC families have used Curated Care to secure Kid Experts for the school year. Many families have also used us for consecutive schools years. Should your Kid Expert become unavailable at any point, we are here to offer support and help in finding new options to cover your after school schedule.
